Archell Thompson

Archell Thompson, born in Curaçao and currently residing in the Netherlands, is a storyteller and founder of DNA Storytellers. Through personal, often confronting narratives, he opens up difficult themes — identity, trauma, childhood abuse, upbringing, and poverty — making them accessible and deeply felt. Rather than simply telling stories, Archell creates intimate performances, interactive storytelling sessions, and workshops that invite audiences to truly experience them. His work is grounded in the belief that stories create communities: when we come to know each other’s stories, space opens up for understanding and genuine connection. At "This Is My Story," he brings this approach to the stage, turning shared vulnerability into collective healing.
