Jos Verpaalen

Jos Verpaalen from the Netherlands was sexually abused at the age of 13. Later in life, he made wrong choices and committed sexual abuse himself. In 2014, he took responsibility for his actions and turned himself in to the police. During his detention, he chose to complete specialized therapies focused on behavioral change and insight. Today, Jos’s mission is to bring sexual abuse out of the shadows in order to prevent it, believing openness and honesty are key to healing and change.
