Keynote Speaker
Shantoesa Marsdin
Shantoesa Marsdin (St.Eustatius), a 30-year-old woman, shares her story of childhood sexual abuse, which occurred when she was in the 5th grade.
This painful event deeply affected her emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. For years, she carried the secret alone. At age 20, she found the courage to speak up and finally received support.
Despite her family’s resistance, she chose to speak out publicly to raise awareness. Today, she lives in the Netherlands, has graduated as a Social Worker, and is studying to become a Pedagogue, dedicated to helping other children.
